The soft tissue is heated to a precise monitored temperature for an allotted time depending on the area to be treated.

Frequent areas to be treated are the arms, thighs, abdomen, buttocks, face, and chin.

This service is best utilized by a patient who has already lost weight and/or is actively losing weight.

The duration of the treatment depends on the number of areas being treated.

Results vary based on medical history, skin type, patient compliance, and individual response to treatment. Results may be observed following initial treatment but the full effect of the treatment is seen up to 6 months after the last treatment is completed.

The results obtained will last if the patient continues to maintain and/or lose weight.

Side-effects are uncommon, but possible side effects that can occur are redness, swelling, temporary discoloration, and minor burns (think localized sunburn). These potential side effects are temporary.

There are some reasons why you would not want to receive this treatment such as being pregnant or nursing, metal implants, pacemaker/defibrillator, uncontrolled hypertension, excessive tanning, cancerous moles, and active skin disorders.
